The World Trade Center was just made of two towers and they showed how New York City believed in its experts. It was established in 1960s by the Lower Manhattan Development Association. During the time of its construction, 164 buildings were demolished and five streets were closed in order to create more space for the constructions to take place. Due to the unfortunate happenings of September 11, 2001, the building is no more.

In 2002, new plans of rebuilding the World Trade Center were put on the table and the authorities decided to re-establish the New World Trade Center. The building will also host a memorial site for the victims of the attack. However, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding the process and many people have claimed that it is not attractive and the constructors concentrated in building working rooms and offices hence certain changes where made to make the process better.

Another feature which goes hand in hand with the transport improvement is the installation of natural light in every street.

The redevelopment of the center will bring great changes in the business sector as the building will host Five World Trade Center office towers and they will provide a good trading and working space. It will cover over ten million square feet of office space. This an excellent indications that, the economy will grow as many entrepreneurs will be ready to establish businesses as there are available offices and working space and the consumers of the good and services will be many in the centers.

Culture at the center
A well renowned architecture has been given the work to design a 1,000 seat performing arts center, which will be located at Fulton and Greenwich streets. The famous cultural arts and festivals will be brought back and they will be performed at the center depending on the seasons.

New World Trade Center – will it ever get built?

The New World Trade Center has been under construction for the last 10 years. And yet it still hasn’t been completed. It is said that the government needs at least another 10 years to be able to fully rebuild the new world trade center complex. There simply is too much work to do on the wtc when it comes to rebuilding the spot that was ravaged by the senseless terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11 2001. There are many records of the tragically sad and devastating events that happened back then. At least a couple thousand people got killed and several thousand people more got injured.

It’s no secret what happened to the original world trade center 10 years ago on September 11 2001. A man named Osama bin Laden who lead a terrorist group called Al Qaida in Iraq carefully planned the coordinated terrorist attacks that would invariably end up slamming two hijacked 767 airplanes full of innocent passengers and crew members into both of the twin towers in the World Trade Center.

Currently, work is being done to build a new world trade center in place of the old one. The damage that was done by the coordinated terrorist attacks that crashed two 767 jet airplanes into the twin towers was really very massive. While nobody said that the rebuilding and reconstructing job would be easy, it’s still a bit surprising to learn that the whole project might take up to 20 years to get finished. Right now, there is but one out of five new world trade center buildings finished, and the other four are expected to be finished by the year 2020.

What exactly is taking so look in building the new world trade center? The truth is, there are a lot of teams working on this project.
